On September 27th at 7:00 am I went in to Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Nebraska to be induced. I was induced at 10am. I was in active labor for 6 hrs then got an epideral. I was then in labor for another 9 hours then my temperature started to rise and his heartrate started to rise, this was due to an infection I started to get being in labor for so long. Dr. NewMyer then told me if my temperature didn't go down I would have to have a C section :( My temperature slowly did start to go down with lots of cool washclothes, however not fast enough. Hunter's heartrate still was rising. by 2am I was 9 1/2 cm dilated but couldn't dilated fast enough to have a natural delivery. At that time we had to do a C section. Not what I wanted but was the best for us both! On September 28th (my original due date) at 3:04 am Hunter Michael Warpness was born. He weighed 8lbs 14oz, and was 21 1/2 inches long. Yes he was a big boy!
I was in the hospital for the rest of the week. I was discharged Friday October 1st! I came home still in a lot of pain. All weekend long I was in so much pain and the pain meds were not helping one bit. I had a temperature over 102.7 all weekend. Monday October 4th I went to the Dr. to get my stiches out. Come to find out the reason I was in so much pain was because I had an acute case of endometriosis. I had to be readmitted right away from my apointment to the hospital again. I was put on 3 different antibiotics every 2 hours. This was the worse pain ever. I couldn't even tell I had just went through and invasive surgery. I was again in the hospital for another week. I was then discharged again on Friday October 8th. They did however let me keep Hunter with me in the hospital as long as somone else was there with me. So my mom and Aaron took turns staying with me! It wasn't a fun week at all but at least my little boy got to stay with me!
